| UKCB Chat Room Night Time Moderator |
We are looking for people who would like to join the UKCB Moderator Team to moderate throughout the night based on British Summer Time.
Requirements:
- Must be aged 18 or over.
- Must have used the service for at least 3 months.
- Please have a good record when applying for this role.
- Must show maturity and common sense.
- Must be willing to learn mIRC to moderate.
- Would ideally suit an Australian or New Zealand based applicant with free time during their day.

| UKCB Chat Room Moderator |
We are looking for people who would like to join the UKCB Moderator Team. You will be placed into one room of your choice and two others of the best interest of the service. Once you have experience you will join more rooms and keep the service safe and fun for everyone online.

| Security Administrator |
We are recruiting for a volunteer to take up a role in the UKChatterbox security team. In this position, your task is to generally oversee the security and wellbeing of the site and its users, as well as supervising all technical aspects.
This is a very important role as it requires active and passive assistance in rooms, as well as ensuring that should the site experience any problems, we know the reason and how to deal with it.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Keeping the entire service - IRC and the website- safe and secure for everyone; assisting other staff members with the removal of undesirable people from the site as a whole.
- Monitoring the Security Operations channel for any potentially undesirable service traffic.
- To maintain contact with ISPs and, if necessary, the police on any matters concerning users.
- To investigate any potential issues on site.
- To assist users and moderators with any technical matters, ensuring that any faults concerning the IRCd are quickly reported and rectified.
- Ensuring that our public relations are exceptional.
- To involve yourself with any IRC-related factors.
- Assisting the moderation team in the chat rooms, or providing monitoring of chat room activity.
Requirements:
- You must be over the age of 18.
- It is preferred that you have used the service for at least 4 months.
- A working IT knowledge is required.
- Experience of using IRC via a non web-based chat client is required.
- IRC Operator experience is very desirable.
- Experience of running an IRC server is extremely helpful, but not essential.
- Knowledge of Anope is desirable.
- You must be confident with public relations, as you may find yourself in communication with authorities.
