For a thousand years, they reigned supreme as
the 'must-have' legwear for every
fashion-conscious man.
Now - over 500 years after they fell out of
favour - tights for men are experiencing a
remarkable fashion resurgence.
Some of the world's biggest lingerie
manufacturers have started making them, and
UK stockists claim they are selling out
faster than they can re-supply.
as a male that wear tights, i can tell you
now i find them more comfortable then boxers,
y-fronts, i havent tyrd the male ones yet as
thay are twice the price of womens tights
i love the way thay feal on my legs and keep
everything where you put it unlike boxers
where you swing free
Sales of tights specially designed for men
have boomed in the UK.
Last week we reported on the launch of
eyelash extensions for men and now it seems
our blokes want to take over our tights too.

Believed to be sparked by the superhero
trend- men are now buying more tights than
ever before and manufacturers have even
launched special 'man tights' for extra
comfort.
Male tight lovers have praised their lycra
friends for stopping chaffing when wearing
shorts and helping keep their legs warm in
the winter.
And its not just the girly guys that are
donning tights- in the past macho men
including cowboys and soldiers have been
known to appreciate the benefits of good
hoisery.
as a woman I hate tights, I think their
horrid, if you have great legs you dont need
them, I think I would be too busy laughing at

I've worn leggings and skinny jeans for ages.
My wife insists upon it as she likes to see
my bum and legs shown off to full effect.
I've worn tight for her too and confess
they're quite a turn on for both of us. I was
trying some shoes on in the January sale and
was were a pair of really tight skinny jeans.
A girl in her early 20s said she wished her
legs were as good as mine. Nicest thing
someone's said to me for ages. She even had a
little feel lol.
Anyway, each to their own about the tights
but don't knock it until you've tried it.
Seriously do not fall for it, next it will be
in the daily express or watever, men in
skirts laddyda then there ya have

tights, stockings etc inharnce the look of
the legs, women dont seem to wear them much
now (apart from grannys *shivers*) so i do, i
love the feal and the look that thay give to
the legs, yes i much perfer them on a women
as thay dont have hairy legs, but i'm single,
its my body, i'll dress it the way i want,
i'm a grown man (i think) keeps me legs warm
when i'm out in me wheelchair

have its practicle use with cold winter
months aproaching and as long as they're
covered up i dont see anything wrong, just
think tho if work mates found out ,you'd

The newest fashion to hit the streets in
hosiery soon may not be for women but men,
with "mantyhose" becoming a possible trend if
one style guru gets his own way.
Harisnya, a self-confessed tights titan,
wears and promotes the legwear for men and
set up the organisation e-MANcipate in order
to make the item of clothing acceptable for
the male demographic.
The British-based website is serious, he
added, while promoting the range of benefits
tights and hosiery may provide gents in the
modern world.
Harisnya said: "Going to work on a cold
autumn day in regular trousers with 20 denier
hose underneath helps to avoid getting cold.
"Plus you won't ever have to worry about
losing or matching your socks."
Earlier this month, the Houston Chronicle
said that colourful tights, leggings and
socks were the way to go this autumn, with
purple, orange, electric blue, yellow and red
all hues of choice for budding fashionistas.
A new craze seems to have taken over and we
are calling it mantyhose. There are plenty of
fascinating reasons for men to wear tights.
Firstly, personal choice some men enjoy the
feel of tights, similar to how women feel
about tights, silky soft hosiery is
irresistible.
Other fans of tights are for reasons such as
hiking, tights are great for circulation
problems and offer fantastic warmth. They are
perfect for sports such as football and
cycling and lots of American NBA players have
adopted wearing them as the spandex makes it
more comfortable to move.
By having variations on the site such as
extra tall and larger sizes we accomodate to
a range of different people with a variety of
tastes. Hold ups are very comfortable as well
and take the worry away from tight
waistbands, there is also no riding down as
they are so easy to simply roll up your leg.
A perfect alternative to tights!
It has been very popular with German men and
a large percentage are wearing them including
German footballers. I am not personally
suprised by this as the recent male grooming
products have diversified into a large
variety of hair products and male make-up. It
was only a matter of time until hosiery for
men caught on.
