Hey, i made the mistake of dropping my phone
in some water, the phone is a samsung g600,
only had it for about two weeks, and it was
in the water for about 10 seconds at the
most....took the battery out and the sim
card, left it to dry out overnight, put the
battery back in and charged it fully up, put
the sim card back in and the phone started up
fine, but it keeps saying no service, even
though i know the sim card is fine because
ive had it in another phone....any ideas or
suggestions please, really dont want to have
to fork out £130 for another phone lol

good idea to take it to a phone shop as the
longer u leave it the more water damage, the

if its all dried out try changing the service
thingy. You know, where you can select
network, manual or automatic. I had to do
this on my phone after I dropped it down the
pi$$y toilet. Had it in the pocket of my
jammies and i bent over to wipe the bairn's
ass and kersploosh. Worked fine though.
