i bought a big issue from a seller at the
perth rd near tay street around about the
post office just down a bit towards the
town,i went and done my shopping and returned
about 40 minutes for a dentista appointment
where he stands , he was about 23 with brown
/blackish spiky hair ,to my surprise i caught
this so homeless which i have found out now
he is not injecting in his leg up my dentists
close ,lets put a stop to buying there drugs
,the pereth rd one is a bad piece of news as
my police friends knows him and stay away or
you may as well hand him drugs BEWARE GOOD
DUNDEE CITIZENS give this one a miss some
might be homeless and doing it for food etc
but this one is a druggie 100 per cent
Get your story straight. First your police
friends told u he was a baddie, then you say
you are an ex copper. Get it right. I think
you show an abismal command of the english
language to be a policeman, if that is in
fact true.
You're in Dundee, FFS, what the hell do you
think they use the money for? Bingo??
Justin, After working for several years with
the homeless one thing became glaringly
obvious.
Most homeless are not in the position they
are in out of choice.
A very high percentage are there due to some
form of substance abuse, be it drug use or
alcohol.
Even if they wish to get their rear ends out
of the gutter, unfortunately there is very
little constructive help out there to enable
them to do so. its what called a vicious
circle.
If you ever again get the urge to help one of
them, then go buy them a burger, chips and a
coffee rather then throwing money at them
then complaining how they spend it.
ps, my man was homeless at the age of 19 and
now he's running a v successful business and
employs over 800 people so no, dont tar them
all with the same brush.
I thought big issue sellers had to prove they
were not on drugs n booze before they could
sell anyway?
they booted the B.I sellers out of Forfar cos
they were practically begging. they were from
the eastern countries and the older woman
spoke no english at all and would hold out
her hand . her daughter would also sell
but if u said no thanks, she'd contorther
face and beg "oh please"
cassieamber I totally agree with what you
said about giving the person who is homeless
food instead of money!!! Because giving them
money then complaining bout how they spend it
is an act of ignorance of someone's
situation.

DETOX/HALFWAY HOUSE PLACEMENT CNTER..WITH
BELIEVE IT OR NOT NO WAGES!!! MY PAY IS
SEEING A PERCENTAGE SUCEED IN THEIR EFFORTS
TO ATTAIN SOBRIETY.- GRANTED THE PERCENTAGE
IS SMALL, BUT NEVER THE LESS THERE ARE SOME
THAT HAVE A SINCERE DESIRE TO LEAD A NORMAL
PRODUCTIVE LIFE.....
THE ONLY THING I WOULD ADD TO WHAT CASSIE
SAID IS, YES, BUY THE FOOD IF REQUESTED AND
YA CAN AFFORD IT, BUT MAKE IT BURGER/FRIES
TYPE OF THING. I HAVE SEEN THAT IF YA BUY
SOME (NOT ALL OF COURSE) CANNED GOODS ETC.,

with the homeless.Its not there choice to be
homeless.You dont have to give money to
anyone you can walk on.Selling drugs is
another thing,Depends what drugs hes selling .
cassie u say that there is no help for the
homeless well from being homeless myself for
a short time it was all the junkies that are
classed as higher priority than myself a full
time worker now i know they may need help but
y would u want to house a junkie quicker than
a person who has been in the same job now for
3 years, they need help before putin the back
into the comunity. i was close to being put
out of the homeless unit as i was classed as
a non priority, and payin 98 pound a week
rent. ie i wasnt a junkie i wasnt preggers or
had an abortion and i wasnt on benifits or
just out of the jail, shockin really in this
day and age, but yeh the system is all fked
up, I do want to say thou not all people who
sell the big issue are junkies as i know a
few myself who do sell the big issue and not
every1 is to be tarred with the same brush, I
hope the best for any1 who has problems with
drugs and hope they get there act cleaned up
as it is not fair on others around and it
makes it harder for the decent big issue

HOMELESS ARE HOELESS!!! GRANTED THERE ARE A

"junkie" is hooked. dealers will not have to

off than u n me and all o the dundee room put
together. the guy might have a habit but i
doubt if hes sellin, so u should get yer
facts right before bumpin yer gums. then
again ignorance is bliss i suppose.
my partner used to be homeless for about a
year. he sold big issue from morning till
night to get off the streets. even when he
was homeless he was so hard working. hes
always got some sort of job.
Every person I see selling the big issue is a
junkie.
Once I seen one scare an old lady by going
right up to her and say want my last big
issue, she bought it and as she walked away
he pulled out a pile of big issues from under
his coat.
Junkies and beggars are the scourge of
dundee, I've caught junkies taking their crap
in my close, i've put up with their parties
that keep me up all night, their abuse and
the smell of dope in my close.
I agree with the user on here who said they
should all be shot.
Junkies and people like that have their own
PA's I mean social workers. Social workers
help scum. Nobody helps the victims of their
crimes, they are left to get on with it.
