Dont buy a gumshield from a harmacy. How
bizarre. Go to the dentist and tell them you
have a problem clenching your tth and you
have TMJ pain.(i.e. the little hook that
holds your bottom jaw on is sore) He will
take an impression of either the top or
bottom set, maybe both and make a soft
splint/ mouth guard for you. It will fit you
and you only. Costs about £45 if its private.
You'll need to wear it foar lets say
4-6months when you sleep or if you clench
your teeth when your really getting into a tv
prog or film, thats a good time to put it in.
You can get clear or any colour you like.
After wearing it for a while you might find
you dont need to wear it as much as you get
out of the habbit of clenching.
