Top Gear Vs Fifth Gear

Top Gear
Or
Fifth Gear

I think the latter is better. Top Gear has
rubbish / pointless features.

The "Celeb In A Reasonably Priced Car" is
just boring now. Used to be good but not any
more.

What do you think?

plus, some cars now have 6 gears so are they
gonna make a 6th gear thats worse than 5th
gear but can never be as good as TOP

But... the women prefer Top Gear.

They like Richard Hammond. Must be his whiter
than white teeth.

I like Vicky Butler Henderson. She's quite
nice, if a little hyper at times.

Don't know where she is, 32 minutes in and no
sign of her yet.

Got a feature about the Jeep Wrangler.

I like them too. Probably rubbish compared to
Land Rovers but they look quite cool.

a long wheelbase safari with a snorkel got us

Because of Clarkson. Rants don't get any
better than his. Love that the hosts can take
the [censored] out of anything
Plus, I love the random challenges and I love
the number of times they've had the Bugatti
Veyron on the show.
Not to mention they use brilliant music at
times.

5th Gear is more car/motors orientated.

years ago it's mostly been about supercars.

Obviously works though as I think the show is
a lot more popular now than it was with the
old format of road testing every day cars.

I've quite enjoyed the latest series of Top
Gear. Anyone see Sunday's episode? I missed
it but think it's repeated tomorrow or
Thursday.

factual but TV is about entertainment. There
is nothing that they can say in a report that
you couldn't find out for yourself either by
test drives or reading articles on the web.
Besides, I've disagreed with a lot of the
comments they've made about various cars.

The choice of presenters could be better too.
Vicki Butler-Henderson is truly awful. I
swear it woudl be less painful to drive a
screwdriver into my ear than listen to her
stuck up, irritating, condescending voice.

Is Quentin Wilson still presenting the show?
His head is shoved so far up his own ass that
it actually reappears back on top of his
shoulders! Tiff Needell isn't much better.

That said, Tom Ford's alright.
