One of our traditional family recipes is the
Letchworth Salad. The ingredients my
Grandmother always used were lettuce, tomato,
chicken, mustard, garlic, Parmesan, croutons.
A friend who lives in N. Herts, close to
Letchworth Garden City insists that what
distinguishes the Letchworth Salad is red
pepper not tomato. Can anyone help resolve
this dispute?
